so i was wondering who comes up with these names. HIPPO i've gathered is our beloved mans best friend the Freelander. does it cover all models or just a particular one?

i have a few names i would like to also put forward :)

It's called a Hippo cos if ye look at it from the front, it kinda looks like one:rolleyes: :D
Another popular name would be GAYLANDER!!:D
 
this is my take on it.
hippo= freelander all models (its what they looklike)
gaylander = freelander all models (there not a 'proper' landy)
tratta = s1,2,3 landy (proper landy you can run agricutural equiptment off the back of them)
deepender = defender (needs no explanation)
water = killer of gaylanders

Come UC get with the programme........

Its called hippo because during the Freelander advertising campaign they had the Hippos in the fore ground of a watering hole with the freelander wading in the background. It was only then that it became likened to a hippo.

ffs if yer gonna try it , then do try and get it right..

whit spanner dint fit trattas, BA do fit a few bits but not many, AF fits just about everything on a traattaaaa.. now tell where the fook you get UNF and UNC spanners from

It was a dog belonging to a DISCOVERY owner !

How good a dog must that be? It wins a prize for biting someone called Shirley and biting a Hippo Owner both at once.

I wonder if it was trained to do that, or if it just came naturally.

I want some unc and unf spanners they sound magic! while i'm at it i might look for some bsp ones too

oh and the pdf file wouldn't open somthing about it broke down on the way to my computer?
but i'm guessing its a gaylander immersed in water! isn't photoshop great!
 
Fook the unc and unf spanners, i want's me a left handed screwdriver as me nearside rear stop/tail needs replcin ;)
 
how about some stripey paint t go with it? 'ere can someone pop down the shop for a long weight oh and get some sky hooks on the way back!
 
next time your in your "generic" builders merchants of choice pop over to the plumbing section and ask for a 100meter drum of fallopian tube complete with an umbilical cord draw wire
