Just bought a low cost Freelander 1999 di with a known fault of both hd and tc on. On reading various other threads hoped it would be the brake light switch.

Checking out the switch currently fitted I had hoped to see the grey switch with three terminals at right angles to main body, but instead it's a two terminal switch with a black body.

Cannot see any other threads which indicate where else to look, other than check wiring to gear stick Hdc switch and abs wheel sensors.

ABS light not on.

Thanks

Stuart

Oh dear, straight into asking for help with first thread, no intro, and posted a very commonly asked question in wrong section.:pop2::dnfnoob:

Does the ABS bulb illuminate at all?

Check out this thread page 3 for a table of light sequences
