I have just done some welding on my 3.9 discovery. I had the battery off when welding. I have just put the battery back on, started it up and the engine goes straight to 3000 rpm. I had the y section off to do the work and unplugged the lambda sensor on each side and plugged them back in. Can anyone shed any light on this?

Panic over. We had knocked the throttle cable out of its bracket

Err Ye. Very stressed when my welded stopped working. Luckily Killajoules has one so we went to pick it up to finish.
