No. The pump needs removing, and careful cleaning and reassembly with new seals. To remove the pump, you need the special sprocket retaining tool.

4 4bi4 Member Sep 20, 2021 #4 I took the top two parts off and changed the seals. While the pump was still in the car. It was easy and took only an hour. Next time I'll seek advice from a brick! Thanks lads!!
