Hi Guys,
Right my 300tdi has started making a hitch pitch whine from what sounds like it's coming from passenger side of motor (noise started just after fitting of new front calipers/pads/brake pipes but feeling it's just coincidence)
Also along with the whine it feels (to me) that when accelerating it's getting held back as if foot on the brake and a wee bit juddering through column, which made me think maybe some was binding on at front brakes, stripped them all down and put back together exactly the same.
The whine i don't hear under acceleration (but could possibly still be there) i only hear it when foot is off the accelerator and LR is just rolling along, if I disengaged clutch noise is still there but pitch changes (sounds different) also any juddering disappears when not on the accelerator .
Any thoughts/suggestions much appreciated, i have recorded noise etc, but unsure if this can be uploaded into here.
