Looking at getting another freelander. I have seen a FL2 with 140k on the clock. What sort of mileage are these doing before major engine issues. Anything else I should look out for?

Dunno. Mine’s got over 184k on the clock, returns 34mpg on a long run, and burns no oil.

The only pricy issues are what you’d expect, like things that wear out: bushes, discs, battery, shocks and belts.

They seem able to pass 200k miles as long as they're serviced and looked after. Others have gone past 200k miles.
