Hi again would any one know if ther is a micro switch that controlls the high beam and flash switch? because when i go to flash some one with lights on it goes streight to main beam, there doesent seam to be any point that you can pull the stalk to without doing this, you end up having to pull the stalk twice once to flash once to turn it off again only a small problem but one i would like to fix

thats how it is supposed to be , annoying, but nevertheless normal

another landrover oversight thanks i will just have to live with it

It was probably done that way for the American market as I believe it's illegal (or frowned upon?) to flash your headlights there. The home market requirements probably didn't occur to them (or they were too tight to make two versions..)
