Swapped my (2001) 207 for w reg Freelander. Makes a clicking noise on full lock and seems sluggish when cold (new air flow meter?).
last permanent 4wd was sierra xr4i haha.
been well looked after and ive done 2,000 happy miles. only off-road ive done is car-parks and carboot field.

might do some sand/pebbles when we go to the beach.

might even buy a radio as it has a plastic cubby hole where radio once was.

Clicking on full lock - a CV joint getting ready to be replaced? If Freelanders have CV joints?

will find out next week when it has a pre-mot check. once i know the true condition i can decide about having some fun in it. though a proper off roader might be better and this will at least mean i can escape car-boot field carparks without a tow in wet weather

keep looking at switch on gear lever. wondering if down ramp at multi-storey qualifies using it?

i need a jack and wheel brace. or trolley jack and a 12v wrench from argos?
