Hello folks.

I've just bought a 1982 Range Rover 3DR Vogue 3.5 V8 for £250 that needs some restoring, and hopefully when I'm done she'll be a minter!

I also own a 1995 Land Rover Disco 300 TDi which is currently off the road as the fuel pump has given up the ghost.

I'll keep it in the garage until the snow comes (won't be long...) then get her going again to do her usual yearly snow commuting.

For £250 it must need a lot of restoring

Well it needs a top end engine rebuild to start with :lol:

After that it is just usual stuff like tyres, brakes, steering etc...

I thought those 3.5 V8's were bombproof?

What happened?

christ no.the v8s all seem to suffer hgf or slipped liners or porus blocks or...

They are if you don't have a burst coolant hose and it overheats...
