I live in Herts, i have had landys since I was 16, I have loads of new and old spares, i have changed my hobby into a small business.

I am thinking of setting up a small 4x4 club to cover the hertford/hoddesdon region

There very probably is a club already in your area. I'm sure someone on here will point you in the right direction. Meanwhile, welcome to the funny farm from sunny Yorkshire.

thanks, there is a club and I was a member but it became to boring, it was just about meeting for drinks and no adventure. I was thinking along the lines of a 4x4 club with all makes, as its good to laught at the Jap plastic fantastics when they become stuck
