Hi everyone i live in the county of Essex not to far from the QE2 bridge and i have a defender 90 1986 EX Mil but i dont have a money tree or a gold or silver mine at the bottom of my garden, but as thing are i will keep it alive as lone as i can.......(the wife goes first) so be gentle with me in new but not new to a site but ive been around lanys for a long time...

Welcome to the forum, nowt wrong with not throwing buckets of cash at your tratter, most people buy things they never or don't know how to use anyway.

Thanks for the welcome Marmaduke I like your thinking and things they don’t know how to use. To me it’s the mares in their Chelsea tractors are top of the list.

The best way of avoiding the wet knee problem is not to go out in your landy whilst it is raining. Also, it is possible to avoid the problem of grazed knuckles by getting someone else to fix the b@stard thing.
