They are expensive and can be inaccurate. Hawk even more expensive but better.
Have you considered a Foxwell?
I have one and it does all I need at half the price, if that, plus it works on all LR and Jag products. No unlock codes you have to pat for.

I have a 520 pro, there is the 530 pro which is more powerful or has more bells and whistles or summat.
I'd get onto them and have a chat with them if uncertain, I always found them more than useful.
Just buy a real one, not a Chinese knock off.

Oh but read some and it says foxwell nt510 is the most suitable for td5 disco 2?is it right?
 
Ahaha no provlem mate i just search it like what is the best diagnostic tool for disco 2 td5 and it say foxwell nt510 but aint sure thats why im here for somw info hehwhe

That nay have been an old comment.
As I said, the peeps at Foxwell should put you right. The 530 was the latest version a while back and it originally came with teething troubles, but I have heard these have now been solved, but the only actual personal experience I have had, and I have a 2000 MY Disco TD5 auto, is with my nt520 and so far it has done all I asked it to do.
But then I haven't wanted to code new keys for instance.
