Hi there,
new forum member - X-pat living in Switzerland.

I need some help - hope I have come to the right place!

My Freelander went in for its MOT yesterday and failed on 1 point.

The gear leaver has to much play in it. I hope I'm supplying enough info...Please ask if not.

The Haynes manual doesnt help.

Can anyone give me some advise on what parts I need to get and advise on the fitting.

Many thanks

No, you are correct. I read your original post too quickly and thought you were on about the hand brake!

Adjusting the handbrake will have little effect on the gear knob!

Sorry!

Cheers
