TD5 Headache

Just wanted to say Hi have bought a Defender 90 TD5 and looking for advise on an issue with the defender or to see if some of you guys or girl have experienced the same problems my Defender starts on the button runs fine until warm then wants to start kangaroos get down the road switch it off and restart and then seem to loose all throttle unless on restart you hold throttle down a little ,leave over night same process starts have changed crank sensor and made no difference ???
