Hi there, newbie to the forum here in the Portsmouth area.
I've had a 2011 Freelander 2 TD4 SE for 3 years and just px'd it for a 2013 SD4 HSE with some fantastic extras, and I pick it up tomorrow yay!
Struggling to find anything online such as a manual! I'm keen to know about the Meridian system in this model - is it the 17 speaker version? Again, searched online and can't find hardly anything for Freelanders, only current models. Interested to know which high-res music formats it can play, as I use FLAC and WMA - anyone help on that please?
Cheers

Ah, I'm sitting in Port Solent at work with a lovely view over Portchester Castle! Thanks very much for that - just in time for lunch so I can take a look! :)

Ahh, nice. I'm sat in Hedge end with a lovely view of the back of Wickes.
Enjoy!
Oh, try and and gets some pics up of the new Freely, @Hippo likes 'em ever so much :)

Will do. I absolutely loved my Freelander 2011 model and will be very sad to part with it -it's been all over Europe with me and never given me a single problem apart from when the windows got stuck down (but I found the simple fix for that!) but upgrading to a newer model with an auto gearbox was essential, especially when driving the M27 as I'm sure you know.....

Is that what you have? I would LOVE a Defender.....out of my price bracket though I'm afraid, and the wife thinks it's 'ridiculous'...oh well....

Yep, this one. Don't hang around, they ain't getting any cheaper.. :)

I'm nearby too. In the pub for a lunch hour beer in southsea.

Welcome aboard.

If you want a fender now is the time.

Nice! I know but I just paid £19K for a Freelander two days ago! I was thinking I could PX my wife's Mazda MX5 for a Defender while she isn't looking but I'd probably have my gentleman's parts surgically removed in the night if I did that...!

In Chandlers Ford right now having product tested snow foam over my 1989 90 before lunch......I don't bother with the M27 and prefer the A roads.

Hi there Thommo. I used to live in North Millers Dale. Have you had the Defender long because I remember seeing an army green one around the area....

Just over a year and it's bright red so not mine. There's a cracking series I see sometimes on the way to/from work (Portchester-Chandlers Ford). White/cream with some RAF type marking on it. It's a real peach!

Welcome to the forum. Tis a sad day when yer have to let yer freelander go. Just make sure it goes to a good home where they'll continue to look after it.
