Hello, I'm new on here and have posted a similar problem with my TD5, vibration at 50mph which feels like driving over a rumble strip!
Have you had any luck?

Thanks for your comment,
This vehicle had boost alloys with odd tyres on it so I thought the same so changed them for a set from my other defender that has a nearly new set of BFG all terrains, had all four wheels balanced and tracking done, vibration still there! The front prop has been replaced too. What next??

@JohnKaye +1 check all bushes and rear prop uj's. Check rear prop rubber donut as well. Check watts linkage by getting someone to rock the body side to side while you're underneath, feel each joint in the watts linkage for play. Usually feel the judder under the seat as well if its that.

Sure its suspension or drivetrain? Check injector harness red plug for oil, can cause rough running. What fuel do you use?

Not very good with these forums! I have posted problems on another thread, wrongly!
I'II start over.
TD5 Defender 2001, had a new chassis after purchase, anything worn was replaced, bushes, clutch, head gasket, injector loom, it has now been fitted with new BFGoodrich all terrains on boost alloys, all balanced and tracking set, new front prop.
Driving with front prop off still had vibration, driving with rear prop off no vibration, so replaced rear prop, vibration still there. changed oil in transfer box and rear diff, removed rear shafts checked for any wear, nothing found. Driving vehicle with diff lock in high, vibration seems less noticable.
My only thought now is transfer box.
I had the transfer box rebuilt on my other 90 but that was because I smashed it up on a hill climb, that one drives lovely!
Any thoughts or suggestions appreciated.
