hi all just joined for some help/info posted this in freelander forum but got no replies as yet.

Can any one shed any light on my problem as follows.
Got a 06 freelander 1 td4 takes a good 20 seconds to fire from cranking engine over once it’s running it’s fine no loss in power no smoke tried changing camshaft sensor still same tried pulling plugs off injectors one at a time every time I unplug one it runs rough plug it back in and it’s fine. Pump inside osr wheel arch seems to be running fine while running I unscrewed drain plug from bottom of pump till it cut out bled system. Still same problem always started with just a few cranks before. Any help to shed any light greatly received done a homemade leak off test no fuel coming from injectors with just ignition on or cranking. When it fired up had a lot of run off from no2 injector (from left hand side) next to nothing from the 1/3/4. Sorry for long post just love my hippo and what it starting like before.

Welcome to LandyZone :)

Could be simpler - blocked fuel filter. If it’s not cranking tidy at first start cold, could be g.plugs or starter dying, low battery etc.

Could be lot of things. FL section is best bet.
