got a l8 1995 land rover discovery and trying to work out what wrong with it when you start it up it has instant presher in the walter botle there is no oil in the walter but the presher is in time with the pistons :-(
thought it was mine!

whats presher and why has walter got no oil. welcome sounds like head gasket. Try spell check

sounds to me like either yer head gasket has gone between the cylinders and water ports but not gone bad enough to get oil into the mix just yet
either that or the head itself has cracked from a cylinder into a water port
is there steam from the exhaust when you floor it in neutral if so its a definate sign of the head gasket fried
