Hi!

After an unfortunate accident & in my RS3 recently and the decision to take on the repair myself, I found myself in the market for a tow car, I've owned two l322's before & loved every day of ownership.

Now I'm on the hunt for a Discovery 3 (in a hurry) in reasonable order with a tow bar.

I thought rather than trawling ebay & autotrader I'd try LandyZone first, I was a member here many years ago but unfortunately looks like my account fell off.

Hope it's still as lively around here as it used to be.

Cheers,

You remember your old account name or threads you made?

Bound to be a few with 2 L322s ;)

Welcome back

Regrettably, couldn't find it.
Nice one, haha the banter @ l322's is still alive. I'll be honest, I had one problem throughout ownership of both .. water pump.

Besides that, I was as happy as a pig in muck the whole way through, this was 8-9 years back, good to see the forum is still going.

Although, it seems there are a number of bugs & broken features around.

I'm sure i'm not the only web developer about & i'm also sure i'm probably not the only who has offered, but ... if there's some way I can help at all, more than willing.

Welcome back.
What a kind offer. Maybe contact the owners direct, as they don't acknowledge the issues pages, let alone read the intros. Would be nice to have a properly working site :)

Certainly, a few hours of my time to make my own experience better, seems like a fair trade. I know they're probably just running this forum for ad-revenue but whatever the reason I'm available a few hours here & there so why not.

I actually bit the bullet on a disco 3

Same owner since 2007, a fortune in miles on the clock (175k). some small minor gremlins but in absolutely mint condition inside & out, very straight & very well running. plus I paid almost nothing for it.

I was in dire need for a "car" either way as I crashed my daily 6 weeks ago, so I couldn't really wait any longer.

You will be safe in a D3 (crash wise).

If you paid near to nothing for it, what’s the catch....

funny u should say that, can see the crumple zone done it’s job , as far as I’m aware it was a high speed head on

pretty sure there ncap 4

Haha

I left this place alone for a day & this is what I came back to.

It's in fantastic order, two owners, last one since 2007.

It wasn't "cheap" but it wasn't expensive either, It was market rate for a very, very clean car.
