Whats the difference between an original snail and a Mk 3 ?
Or is it the heater thats been improved

Is the 3 outside & early ones inside?
Best conversion to internal snail heaters is to rivit the passenger flap closed

I think the S3 has a box outside with a matrix then a snail shape blower.
Series 2 had them bolted to the inside of the bulkhead, round or flat.

@baza1966 Some people use a bilge blower if you can’t get the correct fan
