The Katy in the forum name is the landrover and an explanation of why is over on my blog Land Rover Katy
I'm pretty new to Land Rovers this is my 1st - it's a 127 Marshalls ambulance already converted to a camper and already been to Capetown via the Middle East. the petrol Engine was replaced with a 300TDi and gearbox, but that's where I think my problems are starting
She's 23 already and with something very clonky underneath and a complete refusal to go into 4th at the moment. hard to get into 2nd and very noisy clonking and rattling as a Drive in 1st, 2nd and 3rd as well
Anyway I hope it's not a new gearbox, but I'm suspecting we may be going there soon
The long term plan is for her to be a go anywhere camper that will take us on holidays anywhere we want to go (especially when I retire) and be a great way to take wonderful landscape pictures just by "being there"
Any and all advice will be greatfully recieved
