Just joined and thought I'd say hello. Recently bought a Freelander 1 TD4 SE (3 door) to replace an ageing Frontera Sport and sadly it seems to have fallen ill, hence my joining the forum. I chose a Freelander after trying the Japanese alternatives, it was so much nicer to drive. Now the gremlins have struck (after 1 week of ownership) and I'm keen to get it sorted. See the post in the freelander section for details...
Before you all laugh at the Frontera, think about this. Bought in July 2006 for £850 with 75000 miles, did another 50,000 miles until 2 weeks ago when I sold it for £350. Never broke down and passed all its MOTs... Why did I sell it (rhetorical question)?
The Freelander has the potential to be a great car, I just wished mine worked properly.
Pete.
