Seasons Greetings to all "Landy-Lovers".

I am a new member logging in from Perth Western Australia. 40.7 deg C yesterday and 41 deg C forcast for today! Just got back from a swim at the beach, but let me tell you I would be happy to swap weather with those in the UK! Three months straight of blue skies and no rain is not all that much fun I can tell you!

I am the proud owner of a P38 Rangie Vogue (2000). Not so proud three weeks ago! I was fishing on a river 350 km SW of Perth when I lost the EAS!! Four 60 km. trips on the "stops" on dirt roads and then a 140 km trip on a flat top truck to the nearest Land Rover dealer (200 km from Perth) and the replacement of the valve block assembly!!!!! Why in hell can't Land Rover build them when a EAS fault occurs to "default" to an air suspension height level, so you can drive the beast to a garage to effect repairs??

Welcome to the funny farm Tony. Get rid of the Rangie and get an old Series that you can fix to get you home with some timber and a big sledge hammer!

Hi,
I lived in Perth for awhile a few years ago. Give me that weather anytime. I was working on a station in the Murchinson (Mt Gibson)when I was arrested and deported as an illeagal imigrant. I wish I had been able to explore more of your great country/continent.
