I've been lurking on here for a bit and thought it about time I join up and say hi to you all!
I've been a lover of Landies since I was 8 when our family got our first one (a Lightweight). We had so many after that I've lost count. I now finally own my very own, a 1987 110. Originally bought as a toy, it's had a long rest over the winter but is now on the road as my daily driver and coping happily with a 40 mile commute every day. I'm not exactly mechanically minded (I was thinking with my heart not my head when I bought him!) and mainly learning the hard way at the minute, but that's gotta be better than not learning at all!
I've already learnt a lot from you knowledgeable people on here, and look forward to learning much more! :)

Welcome. Try downloading the relevant workshop manual it'll give you confidence to do stuff, if you have the tools!

Welcome to loony zoon, I was looking at the avatar thinking either that person isn't very tall or that is one lifted landy:D Looks like it needs some TLC and a respray

Thank you for the welcomes everyone! Haha it's a bit of both, Marmaduke, the lift was done before I bought it, and I'm not exactly a giant! :D And yes, a respray will be on the cards at some point but top of the list of this week's priorities is what's causing that new clunk sound when I turn right...

I quite like the way it looks. That's a fair sized commute, so getting that 'clunk' sorted would certainly be a priority! Welcome.

Land rover toolbox videos on you tube combined with this site should be enough to get you started.
Welcome and good luck!
