Hello All
I bought my 2003 range rover L322 last week. Its a deisel. 150k Miles. No service history or manuals though.
So far its been fine. I think theres a small issue with the transfer box as when i select low ratio the dreaded "trans failsafe prog" warning comes up. It then had a problem pulling and when it did pull it seemed like the auto clutch was slipping. Turning the engine off recified that. The warning hasnt appeared since
Other than that in drive its ok. It revs a bit high from what ive been used to with automatics. It gobbles fuel - more than i thought. The computer says 18.5mpg. But a really like the car. Theres few small jobs to do like bulbs out in the instrumenst and stuck CD changer but thats about it.
If anyone has any suggestions of what to keep an eye on i,d appreciate it as this is my first vennture though i have had hyundia 4 x 4s before but nothing as complicated as this
Thanks Phill
