Hi, I've just joined the forum. I've wanted a Range Rover for a long time and have eventually got around to buying myself a nice 71k mile 1998 P38 4.0SE. Very tidy and pretty original which I'm really pleased with. This is a play car - hopefully some green laning and playing in the winter and with a few jobs to get done on the car meaning I get a chance to tinker and learn more about mechanics while I'm at it.

I have a few technical questions already so I'll be posting in the relevant forum areas and look forward to interacting with fellow enthusiasts

Oh you'll definitely learn about the mechanics, and probably the electrics and hydraulics and don't forget the compressed air system.
