I'm a newby, here not to Land Rovers I've been driving them since 1967. I have a Freelander 1 2005 1.8 petrol. It's getting on like me and some things are frustrating about it. It keeps shearing wheel studs because nutters in garages put the wheels on with air guns and to heck with the torque settings. Still the old thing passes it's MOT every year with few problems. Nobody seems to know the correct size of nut for the wheel bearings it's 32mm not 52mm which for some reason they keep trying to sell me.

Welcome to LZ, Jimmie. :)

Thanks Turboman it's nice to be here, can you turbo a petrol Freelander? Just curious LOL.

You can turbocharge anything if you want to spend the money and time. I don't know much about Freelanders, but the diesel ones are turbocharged anyway, judging by the engines being called TD4.
