joined up a couple of days ago and was convinced i was about to buy a TD4 freelander . After reading a load of threads now i dont know weather to buy a TD5 discovery. I have a coulpe of grand ( just ) to spend. I like the better fuel consumption of the freelander but will proberbly only do 5000 miles a year. A lot of discos seem to have a few rust problems but you dont hear much about rusty freelanders , turbos seem to be there downfall. So what do you guys and gals think ? It needs to be good in snow and mud , tow a 10 foot livestock trailer , drag my transit van back up the hill home when its snowed, take the dog out for the day, be easy to look after and be generally a good allrounder. any advice would be much appreceated. thanks folks and have a nice day
