Hi All new member after help and advice have a Disco Tdi Auto which is fine but a Range Rover 4.0 which has a problem.
When I take it out for a run there is a smell of petrol outside which is quite strong - yet it doesn't appear to be leaking and does what the book says on mpg.
Smells strogest near the filler cap area.
This is a recent developement and as I'm having it gas converted I need to sort the problem before I send it in.

Hi mate welcome to the forum. Have you had a look to see if any silly breathers are off and not where they should be. I have a fourtrack which does something similar if the tank is doing empty of all things not full it smells like a fuel station when ya get out after a run... Yes strange but true. My landy just smells of chips it runs on BIO....he he
