Live in Rushden Northamptonshire and have a 88" 1975 series 3 Truck cab in bronze green. My question is when it left the factory what colour wheels would it have had? Can any one point me in the right direction at all? They are ready to paint so I would like to be as original as I can be.

Regards

Paul.

Hi and welcome!

I think the wheels would have been limestone colour. The paint is available from Landy parts suppliers and paint suppliers. The paint code is LRC 007.

Welcome :)

If you are to the point of painting wheels, all I can say is pics, pics pics:):):):)
Only so we can all drool over it:D

Well, wouldn't say it is worth drooling over, basically it came with 3 Weller wheels and 1 standard wheel and no spare, managed to get some standard rims, but rather than swap the tyres around then get them blasted and painted, thought I would do that first so at least it had 4 boots the same on. Was hand painted many years ago and looks streaky and faded and being the winter and no undercover working area, all tasks have to be done outside in the English weather which hasn't been great.

Roll on spring.

Thank you very much, assumed that would have been the correct colour, but I have seen some bronze Series with matching green wheels in pictures on the internet.
