Hi
After having had a freelander for 8 years we have decided that somthing a little more powerfull and competent offroad was required. so we have just bought a 1984 90 V8 with amazon tyres a rollcage and a few other bits and pieces, we are soon going to start offroading it but it will also be used as a workhorse at home, it is soon going to have a respray from its current rather hand painted blue and white, to black possibly with a g4 orange rollcage, i will probably have many more questions a long the way!

Oh, & welcome. D'you got a Mini too? What IS it with Landies & Mini's? They seem to go hand in hand, so to speak.

Dunno, kinda like the paint too, it's different!

Well i own a landrover and my mate owns 3 minis, he loves my landy and is also insured on it. He also works for a landrover company, so i have got to say minis!

Gotta say, to distill it (& someone's going to shoot me down in flames!) from all I've read it seems to be Landies, Mini's (or some other real classic) & motorbikes.............Does seem to be common ground more often than not!

Yep, I recently went to my friendly local LR shop for a bit of a chinwag, decided to go by bike and when I got there one of the customers spied my outfit and asked: "have you got a series 1 then?"
