Afternoon all. I've been the proud owner of my P38 Range Rover since June this year.

Yesterday, when I nipped out to pick up a curry, I noticed the engine sounded a bit rough on start up so decided I'd better check her over today.

I checked the oil level and noticed it was right at the bottom of the dipstick.

I checked underneath the engine and noticed a lot of oil, but most worryingly it appears the sump bolt has dropped out:

Does anyone know somewhere I can get hold of a replacement quickly? I've tried eurocarparts and halfords without success.

Also any recommendations on replacement oil seeing as I seem to have had an unplanned oil change!

Ok, so I've discovered schoolboy error no1. Whatever that is in the picture, isn't a thread for the sump plug, it must be for something else.

Have now refilled with oil and all seems fine. There's definitely a leak from somewhere around the front of the engine though.

Any ideas what it is likely to be?

I cant see the pic? But in any case, try posting your question in the section for whatever landrover you have! ;)
