I am Philippe, french guy, living in French Polynesia with my wife and my 2 children. Quite far from Europe
I own a Discovery 2 TD5 (2001 - 170 000 km) since several months and got ACE troubles, seems quite common in this car anyway...
I bought an ACE removal kit and installed it yesterday, because repairing the ACE is too expensive there, parts are too expensive. As an example, ACE pump is 1300€ at the local dealer. Then I prefered to remove the complete ACE option for approx 500€.

I also have the famous "3 amigos" warning lights on the console... Didn't work on it yet.

I got plenty of useful information in this website and hope to share my experience in the future.
