Hi all,
New to the page so thought I would introduce myself, live in Berkshire not far from Reading, and though shamed to admit it I once purchase a Freelander from new ( I lost a fortune in 6 months then sold it )
Had a baby on Monday and have since found out it is impossible to fit a baby seat, pushchair and 2 dogs in the back of a 3 door Audi A3........it just doesn't work.
I am never looking at another Freelander so I am looking for a cheap Disco TDI. Hopefully going to look at one tomorrow, I know the usual bits floor in the boot, sills, wheel arches, e.t.c just wondered if anyone could suggest anything else? Apparently this one is in mint condition with 136K (K Reg) and has a full MOT and no rot, so sounds good.
Recon Gear box and cambelt has been done the guys selling it seem to buy old ones and make them good before selling.
Anyway - hope to be on here a fair bit, as I have always loved Land rovers and spent many week off road in a Defender many years ago. . . . . . . . great fun. Tried to convince the wife they were "safer" and we should get one but she said they were "UGLY" I nearly wept.
Cheers
Daryl
