hi every one i just came across this site and as im thinking of buying a discovery in the next couple of days and dont really know too much about them wondered if you guys could help me i have about £3500 to spend maybe a bit more..im using it really for camping, dog walking, and generally cruising around in style as ive always loved them! not really sure if i should save a bit more as some of the ones i have seen havent been too impresssive any help or comments would be great!!

hi and welcome to madville! get the best you can afford. go for a well maintained diesel probably a 300tdi. look for rust in the boot floor and listen for clunks when changing gear. my first landy was a 200tdi disco and i loved it. he was sold on 18mnths a go and still passing his mot first time till some thug set fire to him!

Get yourself down to the Disco section and have a look through some of the threads in there. Ask the Disco Boys a few questions too - they're a friendly bunch
