Still fixing it!
hello all, im going to view a "1990 land rover defender 90 4c sw dt diesel"
this is how its advertised!
but on reading up on the subject im worried it might be a 19j and not the 200tdi the seller has promised! and im reading good things about the 19j!
any help and advice is much appreciated

well yeah look for turbo and intercooler im sure if its 19j the radiator is full width and if its a 200 tdi it will have the intercooler next to the rad
 
to be honest tho the best way would be like mentioned before and just print some pictures off and take them with you also was the 200 tdi engine from a later defender or a discovery

note position of turbo's on the two 200tdi injines it may have a disco engine retrofitted.
