Hi ya all..
New here so please be gentle LOL..
I, well my wife and I are the semi proud owners of a Free lander 1..W Reg..
with 93K on the clock.. few things need doing to it .. as I Px with my Zafria as it was on its last legs..
I know these K series Engines are prone to Head gaskets going.. I was told the head had been done.. hence why I brought it ..
Took to a guy I know, well he was recommended to me by a friend
he took one look at the engine and said the head infact hasnt been touched..gutted isnt the word.. but lucky enough it isnt that bad.. but still needs doing ..So this guy is going to do all the week points on it for me in the next few weeks ..Good times...
So I know once its been done with the new multi layer gasket i should be sorted for some time ..
I have always wanted a Landy.. would have prefered a 110 or 90..
As I have a Scale 1:10 RC of a D90 I am building up..
So i suppose having the Freelander is about the closest I am going to get...LOL..
any ideas on any free tips I can do to improve things myself .. would be great ..
one Issue i have is with the blowers ..it will only work when selected to number 4 on the dials .. is this a common issue.. how can i sort this out myself...
thanks Jon
