hi there, i have a land rover 200 tdi bleeding problems,

i have been having this problem as where you can drive for a few100 yards and then it will just die? and start juddering?? then it will start up after a min or two, then just keeps doing the same thing?

i got it home change the fuel filter tried to bleed it but the pump dose not appear to be pulling fuel dose not bleed?? any one got any ideas??

Might want to fill in your location fella, Scotlandshire is a pretty big place;)
 
Hi beezertom250, check the sediment bowl, it could be full of crap, it'll be on your fuel line between your tank and the filter and if that's ok it must be your fuel pump.
 
If its air in the system you can crack open one of the injectors and bleed it as you turn the engine over.
 
I will put my money on the fuel pump. Follow the pipe to the fuel filter and crack the nut. Crank it over and see if any fuel comes out.
