Hi all,

I've just joined the Landy club and brought a Freelander Adventurer 2006 with 24000 miles on the clock. I have always wanted one and this is a lovely motor. I've fitted some nice tubular side rails, reversing sensors and towbar to it so she's finished off nicely now.

Had the garage give it an air/oil filter change and brake fluid change when I brought it - i've just changed the crankcase breather myself and wondered if there is anything else I can do/check to prevent any problems later down the road!

(oh, I have brought some millers diesel additive to put in with every fill to keep the injectors alive)

thanks and regards to you all,

Prevent problems?? Nay, you've just bought into those, its all part of the fun. You buy a Landy, then you fix it, if you're really luck you might be able to drive it. :D

Joke aside, welcome to the Landy Looney zone.

Just looked at your profile, its a TD4. I think there are some other filters to attend to from what I've read elsewhere. If memory serves there is one on the MAP sensor that needs replacement also. I'm sure others (ones that own TD4s as I own an L series) can help here.
