I have been a lurker for a while but now find my self in dire need. I have a '98 disco 1 on which i am trying to change the reverse light switch. I read all i could find on here and thought "how hard could it be?" well the answer is Fvucking impossible ! I cant reach underneath and believe me i have tried so it was centre console out plus all the gubbins drilled out the pop rivets etc. I didconceted the switch and can touch it there is no way i can get a spanner near it and if i get a tiny bit of grip it slips off and cuts or scrapes me !
