Recently bought my 1st Landrover but ive got problems. I have a moaning noise coming from the front nearside. Ive been told by one garage its a wheel bearing and by another its my gearbox. Any ideas? My HDC light also doesnt come on except when i start the car and is there any way to stop the leak in my boot!!!! Can anyone assist?

It's a gaylander and it's yer boyfriend moanin that yer had a curry last night and e's a bit stingy! Leak in yer boot - clearly bf's a big boy, comes with the territory!

easy stuff first - boot - drill a hole to let the water out.
next check the VCu - either tippex or torque test.
then check wheel bearing or CV joint.

suggest yu post int Gaylander section - thems will help ya.
