i'm after a big bag of motivation,does anybody have one they don't need?
every time i look at the ****ty wiring in my landy i find an excuse to go back indoors!
 
yup, i done that for about 2 months before i decided ter kidnap a wiring dude to do mine

if you looked at the wiring you'd understand.rover p5 engine wiring mated to a 2.25 petrol loom with the ****tiest connectors,wrong colour wires and crap soldering.
 
i have seen worse, try a fiat loom 3 diferent colours from one end of the car to the other thats all the same wire as it came out of the factory!
 
is that an offer mad hat man?i just cannot figure it out,are the earths really supposed to be attached to the starter motor?
 
On my series -they werent the earths but the live 12v supply wires! (Brown).

change yo UserCP to show where yu are - yu mite get an offer of help then.:eek:
 
never trust that a wire should be live/earth it'll catch you out and set you on fire or worse break your car always check with a multimeter
 
am in the same boat as u just bought a 1975 109 thats been stood around as far as i can find out since 94 have had it running but only the wipers and one light work i have nt a clue when it comes to electrics but bought a haynes manual and it is the first wiring diagram ive ever understood looks a real peace of p'\;s so will be having a pop at it my self when i can drag myself away from the fire
