Hi,
I have a Freelander 2 on a 57 Plate, had it from new, done under 58000 miles, just started to get a few problems with it, the latest problem being that when driving the engine completely cut out without any warning or warning lights coming on, it restarted after 5 minutes or so, I set off again and about 2 miles later it went into limp mode and the quickly cut out again, same thing restarted but managed to get it to my local garage before cutting out again. They have done a diagnostic code check and there’s three codes showing, P0380,P1295 and P1296. The garage seem to think it is some kind of electrical problem, but don’t feel qualified to do the work but have recommended another firm.
Before I start into this have any of you had or seen this problem before?

I would do the work myself but don’t have time at the moment so was looking for a good garage
Issues are
The turbo we have found to be leaking.
The hose from the EGR cooler seems to have been replaced from the original part. Though on pressure testing no leak was visible, it is obvious there has been a leak since the last visit.
The top part of the sump which hold the pistons, big ends etc - The seal on this is leaking badly.
