HELP im trying to import a series 3 into norway and its all going ok untill thay ask me were is the chassis number is has anyone got any photos of were i should start stripping 30 years of rust waxoil mud!!!

i had a look there today scraped a whole load of stuff off and didnt find anything. apart from whats looks like a welded repar right at the front

That'll be where the chassis number was. It might also be on a plate somewhere on the bulkhead. You can buy these on ebay and stamp them yourself.....

ive got the one on the bulkhead thats not a problem its the chassis thay need to see so i can get my import papers, i may go re stamp it my self and take a chance on it
