Hi all,

I'm back again to seek some more advice if you would be so kind?

So I've got round to ordering some parts for my fuel system, but as I had nothing to compare the new parts to I'm struggling to work out where they all go.

As some of you may know I got a Richard chassis with the addition of TD5 fuel mounts at the rear, to accommodate a new tub, it's a 200TDI (Defender) on a 90 chassis.

So I have got a late 300tdi tank (TD5 style LR013168) with a sedimentor (NRC9708) and pump's (WQB100430 and STC1190) along with a few other bits, but I'm struggling to find where these bits go... especially the last one?
LR067194
LR018260
WJP107950
WJP107960
NRC9678

And one last question, from what I can work out the sedimentor sits near the O/S rear suspension..... my chassis has not come with any holes for it, is there a bracket it sits on?

Any help you can give would be most gratefully received

nrc9678 is a return pipe for a steel tank the return in a plastic tank is next to the feed in the sender unit

id have just got the tank ,sender unit and 2 pipes 1 to run to lift pump the other the return, you dont need a sedimenter filter has a drain bung

Oh really, would it just be that easy? I think that might have to be the way forward as I can't find out how's it connects to the chassis anyway.

thats what i would do your making a hybrid so std parts arent allways going to suit

Either way I still need to find out what does what in order for me to get anywhere and or send things back that I may potentially not need.

But I may have figured a few bits out from process of elimination (or a guessing game).

LR067194 - I think this one is a vent for the tank, so I'm guessing it comes off the smaller pipe on the tank and goes to the smaller pipe on the filler neck?

LR018260 - could be the pipe that sits behind the oil header tank? (black cylinder thing that sits between two injectors) it's some kind of vent hose, although the pipe I have on there at the moment is thicker but not original

WJP107950 - goes from the tank to the sedimentor. I haven't worked out which side of tank it would come out of? I would have thought the pump that goes in the tank would have said which way it's orientated FFS!!

WJP107960 - is the two main pipes, one from the tank to the engine (where about's in the engine I'm not sure ) and the other I think goes from the sedimentor to the lift pump again... I'm not sure

ESR394 - goes from the lift pump to the filter

ESR395 - goes from the filter to the injection pump via a bolt on banjo (I'm guessing that would be the one on the right hand side at the front of the injection pump, if you was looking at the car head on?)

NRC9678 - is getting sent back, to be fair this is my fault as I was thinking about doing two tanks and then changed my mind so I'm guessing it got confusing.

As you can see I'm completely clueless, but we all gotta start somewhere.

Sorry to keep banging on,

But in the photo can anybody tell me where the pipe goes to with the arrow pointing up?

Many thanks

its the feed pipe to lift pump it will go to the sedimentor on inner side of drivers side chassis rail first then to lift pump, the other return from rear of injection pump
