If you have another from Ebay, why are you trying to fix your old one ?
The threads are bolts moulded into the plactic handle, there isn't an easy fix if they break, which is quite common.

The bolts always break when removing the back handle. If you want to save you old handle either drill them out or if there is a stub left twist the hole bolt until its mount breaks, it's a type of glue holding them in place. Re mount a similar bolt using araldite.
Before you put your new handle on put plenty of waxoyl or similar around the bolt holes on the inside and outside of the door. I applied a bead of silicone around the handle when replacing it so water could not seep in as the rubber seal provided is worse then useless.
