This is for a 1991 200tdi defender 90. Got some second hand doors that need a bit of work. The doors are the lift up handle type not the original doors - see pic 5

Could anyone help me with the part numbers for:

1. The plastic push down inside lock button and the metal rod attachment - see pic 1
2. New lock barrels to fit lift up handle doors - see pic 2
3. Door hinges - see pic 3
4. Window seals - see pic 4

Also, can anyone recommend a banging rust stabilising primer?

Ta!

I think the lock barrels are standard MTC6503. The other parts may be hard to get - I have these doors and have struggled to get parts.

You're a hero. Thanks. It's a shame as these door are by far the best looking ones.

Any one know of a good rust stabilising primer?

Probably going to go with Buzzweld

Have a look at this for part numbers.View attachment 106939

Do you have the other door pages you could send me? Having started to strip the doors this eve I'm going to need to replace all the window seals and glass runners. Looks like these will be the same as for the push button doors but could do with checking

Click on boguing's link, then click on the "Parts catalogue - 1987 on " link, this will open a PDF catalogue with exploded diagrams to every piece of a Landy ( 90,110,defender ). If you've got an iPhone save the pdf to iBooks, it's invaluable once you have it!

Nice one mate

There are all sorts of packing pieces etc for the channels. Mine were all rusted away to buggery, so I used spare window channel from my Series days, works fine.

I used this to replace my rusted window channels. LINKY worked a treat.
And I've found Fertan to be pretty effective with rust.
