Can anyone help! I have a problem with my windscreen wipers, they work fine in the normal position, but on intermittent it freezes at the top of the screen, starts again then freezes at various parts of the screen, then when I turn them off it does not go back to the bottom it just stops were ever.
It first started when we had a lot of snow and before I cleared the screen I turned them on by mistake as I got in.

Sounds like you have fooked the park switch. I am not sure if that is a seperate replaceable part on the Freelander, or if you have to replace the whole wiper motor.
 
I would suggest you take the wiper motor off and then scrap the car. The motor is repairable but the gaylander is worthless..........

If you can't handle one childish comment then perhaps you are on the wrong forum because it goes hand in hand with being the best, most helpful and popular site by far.

So to recap, you ask a question, come back nearly a fortnight later, and then spit your dummy because a nasty man made a bit of a joke:eek::eek::eek::eek:

Might I suggest that you NEVER venture into 'Anything goes', you'd have a shed collapse in the first 30 seconds:p:p:p, this is far and away the best Landy site out there, BUT you need a bit of a sense of humour, something which you do appear to lack judging by your comment above. I suggest having a look around, and seeing how the site works before posting anymore comments like that, because to put it mildly, you just make yourself look a bit stupid;);)

So you get the correct answer! To a stupid question! I've just buggered my motor using it on a snow covered screen, do you think it's buggered? Then spit your dummy cos someone brings some humour in? Get a life:D
