Hi all, its me again, does anyone know if there is a feed from the BCU that supplies the electric windows and central locking, I have discovered a brown wire that comes from a relay that i think should be live and it is not. this relay has been discarded and two wires have been joined to bypass the relay so that the vehicle would start, sounds very dodgy but a garage did this.
Somewhere along the line the power feed to the e/windows and central locking has been disrupted and for the life of me I cant figure it out its driving me up the wall. any ideas please.

Not familiar with actual wiring on your vehicle, but are all the wires of equal size (thickness), realys are either switches that require 1 item to be live before another can be used (all wires same thickness) or switches that use a low ampage feed to turn on or off a high ampage circuit eg spotlights (thin low ampage 'switch' wire & 2 thick high ampage wires).
And also do you know where any of the wires come from or go too?
Lastly, std relays (black box items) have numbered terminals, which numbers are in use?
Afraid wiring can be time consuming problem to solve, mostly a matter of narrowing down as many options as possible, so the more information the better please.
