The touch screen in my Disco 3 stopped working a few weeks back and today was the first chance I got to bring her into LR and let them have a look.
They tried a hard reset, which had no effect, and they have suggested it needs a new screen/pc.
Checked the price on this with the lad at parts, and with 15% discount it £2k for an exchange part!!!

Does anyone know if these can be repaired locally, or if there is another possible solution before I start to trawl through FleaBay etc.

As a start point I would look at any company that repairs IT gear / i pads etc.. that all touch screen type... Just an idea.
